Background:
The Ardonagh Group is the UK’s largest independent insurance distribution platform and is ranked in the top 20 brokers across the world.
During the project, the Firco team worked in close partnership with Quay Office Group Ltd to handle design, construction, fit and move. Firco has successfully worked with Quay Office Group in the past on many construction projects for Ardonagh Group and Towergate Insurance across the UK.
The brief:
Firco was appointed by Quay Office Group to implement the design and construction of a new office space for The Ardonagh Group to create a larger, modern workspace for their regional premises in Norwich. The client wanted to transform the empty office space into partitioned, glass-fronted modern offices with a large boardroom, kitchen and breakout spaces. The project also included full lighting, plumbing and electrical work.
How the project was delivered:
Our delivery team of experts worked closely with Quay Office Group to design and refurbish the Norwich office space over eight weeks. During this time, we oversaw all facets of the construction work including flooring, solid and glass partitioning, creation of a new boardroom, kitchen installation, breakout spaces as well as plumbing, lighting and electrics.
The 660m2 space was vacant and dilapidated so repair work was needed to bring it up to current health and safety standards. Once renovation work had been undertaken, Firco and Quay Office Group completed the redesign and construction work to deliver a modern, tasteful workspace. The project was completed within the agreed time frame and within budget.
We completed the project in line with the programme of works adhering strictly to the in-depth health and safety measures in place during the COVID-19 pandemic.
