Firco Group’s roots stretch back to 1947 and the family-controlled business has developed over time resulting in a market leading reputation for delivering specialist commercial construction and facilities management projects for blue-chip customers.
The Group is now owned and managed by Group Managing Director James Day and his son Group Operations Director Henry Day. Together they represent the third and fourth generation respectively of the family and form a key part of the senior management team.

The construction arm of the Group works with companies, institutions and private individuals. It delivers a range of construction services to multiple sectors including industrial, light industrial, retail, office and defence. We have high levels of technique expertise within our team and have a first class track record in delivering highly technical and complex projects. For example, creating clean rooms for building weapons and laboratories for producing chemical products.
The Group’s investment portfolio consists of commercial and residential properties our senior team has purchased, renovated and held. The key part of our investment strategy is bringing old, neglected properties back to life and into use, as part of our commitment to sustainability.
Firco Group also provides design and planning services via Barnaby Sloane, our design division. This means we can provide space planning and advice and support throughout the entire planning process.
Firco Construction is an interior and exterior refurbishment specialist and also a main contractor operating throughout the UK. We are also available to take on commercial and industrial projects abroad.
The Firco Group has developed a significant investment portfolio, comprising of commercial and residential property in the UK. We take a long-term, sustainable approach to property investment and re-invest Group profits into our investment-arm.
Barnaby Sloane, our design division, provides a full-service pre-construction design and planning service. We can design specialist plans, architectural plans and CAD drawing as required.
